RESULTS
FRESNO, Calif. (March 25, 2024) – The Northern Arizona University golf team completed day one of the Fresno State Classic today at the Copper River Country Club (par-72, 6,726 yards) in Fresno, Calif. The Lumberjacks are currently in eighth place after completing round one and nearly finishing round two before the round was suspended due to darkness.
In the first round of 18 holes, Northern Arizona shot a 295 (+7) with
Ekaterina Malakhova leading the way with a 72 (E) for her second-straight round at par or better dating back to last week.
Following Malakhova was
Lizzie Neale who shot a 73 (+1) in round one. In round two, Neale has one more hole to go and is currently two-under, tying for third.
Freshman
Amy Hodgkins shot a 74 (+2) in round one.
Ellena Slater shot a 76 (+4) in round one while
Lorel Hayward shot a 79 (+7) to round things out.
Northern Arizona will complete the second round at 8:30 a.m. before moving into the third and final round. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.
