EUGENE, Ore. (June 8, 2024) – The NAU track & field team concluded their NCAA National Championship competition with four more All-American performances, and an NAU and U20 American record.
The women tied for 57
th with a score of one point.
Karrie Baloga finished as a first-team All-American in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, running a time of 9:42.22 to break the U20 American record as well as the NAU school record in the event. Baloga placed eighth overall as she scored one point for the Lumberjacks.
Maggi Congdon placed ninth in the finals of the 1,500-meter with a time of 4:10.41 to earn second-team All-American honors.
Annika Reiss earned second-team All-American honors in the 5,000-meter after placing ninth with a personal best time of 15:30.64. Her time set a new school and Big Sky Conference record in the event.
Gracelyn Larkin also finished as a second-team All-American in the 5,000-meter, placing 10
th with a time of 15:32.82.
