Women’s Tennis Garners ITA All-Academic Team Honors and Four Individual Scholar-Athletes

PHOENIX, Ariz. (July 22, 2024) - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2024 Division-I All-Academic teams and Scholar-Athletes Monday morning, honoring NAU as a program and four individuals as well.
 
NAU's Ana Guadiana Campos, Ava Neyestani, Jade Brilhante, and Laura Duhl each earned ITA Scholar-Athlete titles after holding a 3.5 GPA through the 2023-24 academic year. In total, 1,573 Division-I student-athletes were honored while 255 DI women's programs were honored as well. Guidana Campos and Duhl each earn the honors for the second-consecutive season.
 
For a team to be honored, the team must hold a 3.2 GPA with all varsity letter winners being factored into the GPA calculation. The team honors mark the 11th time in 13 years that NAU's Women's Tennis program has earned the award. NAU Women's Tennis finished the Spring semester with a team GPA of 3.48.
