FARMINGTON, Utah (August 12, 2024) – The Lumberjacks will begin the 2024 campaign this Thursday in Tempe to face Arizona State for the first match of the regular season, with sights set on a third-straight Big Sky Championship appearance.
NAU was picked No. 2 in the conference preseason poll, which was announced by the Big Sky on Monday morning, sitting behind the Montana Griz who received five first-place votes. The Lumberjacks received one first-place vote, while Idaho brought in two, and Northern Colorado brought in one. The poll is voted on by league head coaches, who are not allowed to vote for their own team.
The Lumberjacks will play eight non-conference regular season matches before opening Big Sky play on Sept. 29. at Montana for an early look at the 2024 Big Sky Championship host field.
