FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Jan. 15, 2024) – For the second consecutive week, a Lumberjack has earned Western Athletic Conference weekly honors.
Victoria Knapp was named WAC Diver of the Week following her performance at the Lancer Dive Invite, hosted by California Baptist University.
The three-day meet featured competitions in the 1-meter, platform, and 3-meter events.
Knapp, a fifth-year student from Mesa, Ariz., placed fifth in the 3-meter event, scoring 276.65. She secured ninth place in the platform event with a score of 203.80. On the final day, she claimed first in the preliminary round of the 1-meter with a score of 295.10 and narrowly finished second in the final round with a score of 287.80.
The Northern Arizona diving team will host the spring edition of the Lumberjack Diving Invite from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 at the Wall Aquatic Center.
