Sophie Glancey Earns Third Big Sky Player of the Week Award this Season

FARMINGTON, Utah (Jan. 7, 2025) – For the sixth time in nine weeks, a Northern Arizona women's basketball player has been named the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week. This week's honors were claimed by Sophie Glancey who earns the third nod this season and the sixth of her career.

At Idaho State, Glancey scored 18 points and added nine rebounds to go with a career-high four assists to lead the team, also adding two steals and a block while going 7-for-8 from the free throw line.

Against Weber State, she scored 21 points and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season – a mark that ranks sixth in the nation. Glancey shot 64.3 percent (9-14) from the field and was a perfect 3-for-3 at the charity stripe. She also added an assist, a block and two steals.
