FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (November 17, 2025) -Â The Northern Arizona women's swimming and diving team heads into midseason this week, competing in two separate events. The swimmers will compete at Colorado Mesa from Nov. 19-22, while the divers will host the Lumberjack Diving Invite from Nov. 21-23 at the Wall Aquatic Center.
The swimmers will travel to the Colorado Mesa Invitational, while the divers will host the Lumberjack Diving Invite at home in Flagstaff.
Most recently, the Lumberjacks faced fellow MPSF Conference competitor, New Mexico State, taking the victory 191.5-108.5. The Lumberjacks took first in 11 of 16 events, including a new school record in the 200-yard medley relay, set by Gracie Munk, Cydnie Perkins, Isahbel Krasht, and Kokona Watanabe who clocked a time of 1:40.77.
The Lumberjack divers once again swept the podium in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Senior Grace Wesche won the 3-meter with a score of 316.20, followed by Margaret Wesche (302.70) and Mackenna Stocker (298.80). On the 1-meter board, Margaret Wesche claimed victory with a 294.23, narrowly edging Grace Wesche (292.88) and Stocker (271.80).
At Colorado Mesa last season, Northern Arizona finished third out of five teams with a total score of 638.50. Wyoming were the champions with 1,119.50 points and Colorado Mesa took second with 1,009.
At the previous Lumberjack Diving Invite in January 2025, recent graduate Victoria Knapp took the gold in both the 3-meter (319.45) and the 1-meter (305.00).
