GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. / FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (November 21, 2025) – Margaret Wesche claimed the 3-meter win at the Lumberjack Diving Invite, highlighting Friday's action for the Northern Arizona swimming & diving team across two meets.
For Wesche, she followed up her third-place finish on the 1-meter springboard on Thursday at NAU's home diving invitational at the Wall Aquatic Center with her first event win of the weekend.
Wesche posted a winning score of 332.45 in the finals, a point better than
Grace Wesche, who finished with a runner-up score of 321.30.
Grace Wesche earned the win on 1-meter on Thursday.
Margaret Wesche was second during the preliminaries in a 1-2-3 sweep for the Lumberjacks.
Mackenna Stocker earned the prelims top score of 324.50, but did not compete in the finals. Behind Stocker in the prelims,

Grace Wesche earned scores of 320.40 and 318.80 respectively in second and third.
Kirsten Clark also competed on 3-meter, totaling a score of 197.20 in the preliminary round.
In Grand Junction at the Colorado Mesa Invite, the Lumberjack swimmers competed in day three of four. The swimmers were led by a pair of runner-up finishes by
Elsa Musselman and
Gracie Munk in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke respectively.
As a team, NAU heads into the final day of competition on Saturday in second-place with 697 points, behind host Colorado Mesa's 862 points.
Musselman got the evening session going with a second-place finish in the 100 butterfly finals, clocking a time of 54.66, nearly a second faster than her prelims time. Musselman posted the fastest split over the last 50 yards at 28.71. She was joined in the final 'A' heat by three of her teammates as Munk,
Beezer Geer and
Kaci Kelaher finished sixth, seventh and eighth to earn points for the Lumberjacks.
In the night's final individual event, Munk placed second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.10. Kathleen Richter and
Allie Hayes placed sixth and seventh respectively.
Other highlights include
Allie Hayes and
Cydnie Perkins recording third-place finishes in the 400 individual medley and 100 breaststroke respectively.
Hayes was the only Lumberjack in the 400 IM final, turning in a time of 4:30.97, an improvement over her prelims time of 4:33.48. Meanwhile Perkins led four 'Jacks in the 100 breaststroke final with a time of 1:02.45, just fourth hundredths of a second behind the winner.
Trelise Dance,
Mariana Diaz-Ponce and Geer were fourth, fifth and seventh respectively.
After qualifying seventh in the 200 freestyle prelims,
Evalotta Aabrams improved to fifth in the final with a time of 1:52.70.
Kokona Watanabe was eighth.
To cap the night, NAU placed second and third in the 400 medley relay. The Lumberjacks' 'A' team of Munk, Perkins, Musselman and Watanabe finished second with a time of 3:45.19.
Both the NAU swimmers and divers will wrap up the weekend on Saturday. The divers will compete on platform at the Wall Aquatic Center and the swimmers will finish with day four in Grand Junction, Colo.
