FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (February 14, 2025) – The NAU Men's Tennis team will play two home matches on Sunday, one against UC San Diego and the other against Western New Mexico.
The match against UC San Diego will be first as it starts at 10 a.m. The Lumberjacks currently have a 3-0 record against the Tritons. The last time these two teams met resulted in a 4-0 win for NAU.

Dani Torres are the only players on this current Lumberjack team to take on UC San Diego. Galus' match resulted in a straight-set win against his opponent, 6-4, 6-2. Torres also grabbed a singles win against the Tritons in his sophomore year when he won 6-1, 6-0.
The second match on this upcoming Sunday, NAU will go up against the Western New Mexico University Mustangs at 2 p.m. The Lumberjacks played the Mustangs twice on the same day last year with NAU sweeping both of those matches, 7-0.
With two losses last week, the Lumberjacks will be looking to bounce back and add two wins to their record. The matches will take place at the Wall Aquatic and Tennis Complex, the match is free for the public to attend.
