FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Mar. 12, 2025) – The Northern Arizona women's golf team will host the annual Red Rocks Invitational at Oak Creek Country Club from Mar. 14-16.
The tournament will consist of three rounds of 18 holes, with play beginning at 1:00 p.m. MST on Friday and Saturday and at 8:15 a.m. MST on Sunday. All three rounds will follow a shotgun start format.
Oak Creek Country Club is a par-72 course, playing at 6,215 yards. Live scoring will be available via Scoreboard.
The field includes California Baptist, Columbia, Delaware, Grand Canyon, Illinois State, Montana, Morehead State, Navy, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Oral Roberts, Seattle, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, Towson, Weber State, Wichita State, and Xavier.
In last year's tournament, Northern Arizona tied with Seattle for the team title, finishing at 881 (+17) over three rounds. In 2023, Ellena Slater won the individual title as a freshman with rounds of 69, 73, and 70 (-3). In 2022, former Lumberjack Elle Kocourkova claimed victory with scores of 68, 73, and 70 (-5).
The Lumberjacks enter the tournament fresh off a team win at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational in St. George, Utah, where they edged out UC Irvine by two strokes. Lizzie Neale secured the individual title with rounds of 72, 71, and 70 (-3), earning Big Sky Golfer of the Week honors.
Next, NAU will compete at the PING ASU Invitational in Tempe, Ariz., from March 28-30, their final event before the Big Sky Conference Championships in April.
