FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 5, 2025) – The Northern Arizona women's golf team will hit the road again to compete in the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational in Cedar City, Utah, from March 7-9.
Hosted by Southern Utah, the tournament will be played at Sunbrook Golf Course (par 72, 5,914 yards). This marks the first time NAU has participated in the event.
Each day will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Standard time, with 18 holes played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament field includes Bakersfield, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Montana State, Southern Utah, Stetson, UC Riverside, Wyoming, Utah Tech, Utah Valley, and Weber State.
Live scoring will be available through Scoreboard.
Most recently, NAU competed at the GCU Invitational, finishing fifth with a total 886 (+22) score. Nina Lukyanenko was the top-finishing Lumberjack, tying for 10th place at +2. Lizzie Neale tied for 15th at +4, while Ellena Slater tied for 20th at +5.
Up next, Northern Arizona will host the annual Red Rocks Invitational in Sedona, Ariz., from March 14-16 at Oak Creek Country Club.
