Kavon Bradford Joins NAU Basketball Roster

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (May 30, 2025) – Northern Arizona Basketball adds Kavon Bradford to the 2025-26 roster, as he joins the Lumberjacks out of Portland.
 
"We are excited to welcome Kavon to our 2025-26 team. He is a high character person that is spoken highly of by many coaches. He is physical, has the ability to play the point and can guard multiple positions. We cannot wait to welcome him to our basketball family," head coach Shane Burcar said.
 
The 6'2 point guard attended Benson Tech high school in Portland where he led the state with an impressive 7.5 assists per game. Bradford simultaneously averaged 21.3 points per game.
 
During the 2023-24 season, he spent time with the Western Canada Preparatory Academy (WCPA) in Edmonton, Alberta. Bradford averaged 20.1 points, 8.5 assists, and 7.5 rebounds while shooting over 39.0 percent from three-point range.
 
Most recently, Bradford played for the University of Buffalo, averaging 4.1 points per game, 1.7 rebounds per game, and 1.2 assists per game as a true freshman, while shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from beyond the arc. Brafford recorded his career high in February, dropping 18 points over Ball State.
