FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (June 9, 2025) – The Northern Arizona track and field team will send nine athletes to the Division I NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week in Eugene, Ore., from June 11-14 at historic Hayward Field.
The men's competition will take place on June 11 and June 13 and will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN2, respectively. The women will compete on June 12 and June 14 on ESPN and ESPNU. Live results for all events are available here.

Ava Mitchell (5,000-meters) and
Agnes McTighe (5,000-meters).
Hook is the first-ever men's javelin thrower from Northern Arizona to advance to the NCAA Division I National Championships. He threw a near personal best of 68.62-meters on his first attempt at NCAA West Prelims to place 11th overall after coming in ranked 24
th.
Hook won the Big Sky title in the javelin with a mark of 68.98-meters, breaking his own school record. The javelin finals take place on Wednesday, June 11 at 5:15 p.m.
Bosley is making his NCAA Outdoor National Championship debut, competing in both the 10,000-meters and the 5,000-meters. He finished sixth in the 10,000-meters at NCAA West Prelims with a time of 28:19.60. In the 5,000-meters, he auto-qualified by placing fourth in his heat and 10
th overall with a time of 13:34.58.
Mullarkey is also competing in both the 10,000-meters and the 5,000-meters. It's his third-straight appearance in the 5,000-meters, but the first in an NAU uniform. He will be racing in the 10,000-meters for the first time in his career. He finished seventh right behind Bosley at NCAA West Prelims in the 10,000-meters with a time of 28:19.73 and then qualified by time in the 5,000-meters after clocking 13:33.85 to finish eighth overall.
The 10,000-meters is set for 6:56 p.m. MST on Wednesday, June 11 and the 5,000-meters takes place at 6:55 p.m. MST on Friday, June 13.
Sahlman is competing in the 1,500-meters at the outdoor championships for the third-straight season. He made it to Eugene by finishing fourth overall and fourth in his heat at the NCAA West Preliminary round with a time of 3:40.17. He placed 17
th overall at the championships in 2023 and improved to a fourth-place finish in 2024.
The semifinals are set for 4:21 p.m. MST on June 11 and the finals will take place on June 13 at 5:12 p.m.
Congdon advanced to Eugene for the second-straight year in the 1,500-meters. She won the event with a time of 4:05.73 at the NCAA West Preliminary Round, setting a new season best and a facility record with a mark that ranks eighth all-time in NCAA history. She placed ninth in the finals at last year's NCAA Championships.
The 1,500-meter semifinals take place at 4:21 p.m. on June 12 and finals are set for 6:11 p.m. MST on June 14.
Baloga is on to Eugene for the second-straight year after setting a school record time and personal best of 9:40.13 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, finishing second overall at NCAA West Prelims. She placed eighth in the finals at last year's NCAA Championships.
The semifinals of the steeplechase are set for 4:38 p.m. MST on June 12 and the finals take place on June 14 at 6:24 p.m.
Perry broke her 400-meter hurdle school record twice at the NCAA West Preliminary Round, first running 57.40 in the first round and 56.70 in the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals, she auto qualified by finishing second in her heat and finished fifth overall. Perry is the first Lumberjack on the men's or women's side to qualify for the NCAA Championships in program history.
She is making her first career individual appearance at the NCAA Championships. The 400-meter semifinals are set for Thursday, June 12 at 6:14 p.m. and the finals are on Saturday, June 14 at 7:27 p.m.
A pair of Lumberjacks will represent NAU in the women's 5,000-meters. Mitchell will be making her first career appearance after placing 10
th at West Prelims with a time of 16:00.58. McTighe is also competing at her first NCAA Championship meet, clocking 16:01.83 to place 12
th in the semifinals.
The 5,000-meters are set for Saturday, June 14 at 7:55 p.m.
