NAU's road match against Hawai'i starts at 10 p.m. MST on Thursday, and its contest with South Dakota State will begin at 3 p.m. MST in Waipahu.
The Lumberjacks stand at 1-1-1 entering this week, following a cancelled home match due to lightning in the area against Phoenix College this past Sunday. NAU drew UC San Diego, 0-0, in La Jolla on Thursday night.
Against UC San Diego, the Lumberjacks outshot the Tritons 10-7 and drew six corner kicks to UCSD's one.
Micala Boex led in shots with four and leads the team with 14 on the season through three matches. Four Lumberjacks have netted a score on the season including Boex,

The Lumberjacks face Hawai'i for just the second time. The two schools last met in 2013, with the Rainbow Wahine taking a 1-0 win in Flagstaff. Hawai'i was voted the favorite in the Big West Preseason Poll, following a Big West Regular Season Championship in 2024, and comes into this match at 1-2-1.
The Rainbow Wahine most recently fell at home to Oregon, 3-0 on Sunday. Nalani Damacion and Amber Gilbert both received nods to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Like NAU, the Rainbow Wahine have four goal scorers with one goal apiece on the season. Goalkeepers Brianna Chirpich and Kennedy Justin have evenly split time between the posts this season.
NAU also meets South Dakota State for just the second time, with the Jackrabbits taking the lone previous contest, 3-2, in Flagstaff in 2022. South Dakota State was voted second in the Summit League Preseason Poll, and sported Lauren Eckerle and Hailee Christensen on the league's Players to Watch list for 2025.
The Jackrabbits (2-1-1) are the two-time defending conference tournament champions, capturing their third title in the last four seasons in 2024. South Dakota State most recently claimed a 2-0 win over Hawai'i Pacific in Waipahu on Monday evening. They face California Baptist on Thursday before meeting NAU on Sunday.
