FARMINGTON, Utah (February 4, 2026) – Northern Arizona men's tennis sophomore
Noa Tcherniack has been tabbed the Big Sky Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday morning.
The laurel comes of the heels of a week in which Tcherniack remained undefeated in singles play, competing on courts one and two. He stands at 6-0 overall on the season, with all but one of his victories coming in straight sets, and the most recent being over Utah's Emmett Potter this past weekend.
The native of Perols, France has also accumulated a 4-1 record in doubles so far this season, also playing on courts one and two alongside fellow Lumberjacks
Takumi Katsuda and
Jakub Volesky.
Tcherniack and the Lumberjacks will be back in action next weekend as NAU travels down to the valley for a meeting with Grand Canyon on Feb. 13 and a neutral match with Hawai'i on Feb. 14.
