FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Feb. 5, 2026) - Northern Arizona senior Colin Sahlman was named to The Bowerman Men's Watch List, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
A 2024 Bowerman semifinalist, Sahlman earns his fourth career appearance on the watch list, reasserting himself among the NCAA's elite mid-distance and distance runners and rejoining the national award conversation.
Considered the most prestigious individual honor in collegiate track and field, The Bowerman recognizes the top male and female athletes across both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Since the award was established in 2009, Northern Arizona has seen multiple men earn placement on The Bowerman Watch List, including Tyler Day (2020), Diego Estrada (2013), and David McNeill (2010). Sahlman's return adds to that legacy and highlights the program's continued national prominence.
Now entering his senior campaign, Sahlman ranks among the most accomplished athletes in program history, with standout performances spanning cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track.
