SEDONA, Ariz. (March 12, 2026) - The Northern Arizona women's golf team will host the 19th annual Red Rocks Invitational from March 13-15 at Oak Creek Country Club.
The Lumberjacks are coming off a seventh-place finish at the Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev., against a stacked field that included seven top-50 nationally ranked teams and numerous top-100 players.
Lizzie Neale shot +3 over 54 holes to finish ninth, marking the 17th top-10 finish of her career and earning her second Big Sky Player of the Week honor this semester. The award marks the sixth time the senior has earned the recognition. She last received the honor following her performance in Palm Desert, Calif., where she posted a three-round total of 216 (76-71-69, +3).
At last year's Red Rocks Invitational, Northern Arizona's Ellena Slater captured the individual title for the second time in her career, shooting a 3-under 69. The tournament was shortened to 18 holes due to a snowstorm that swept across Oak Creek. Visibility became so poor that play was suspended after the first day and resumed on the third day. She also won the tournament as a freshman with a 54-hole score of 212 (-4), claiming the title by two strokes.
Grand Canyon took the team title at even-par, one stroke ahead of Northern Arizona at +1.
The first two days of the tournament will begin at 8:27 a.m. MST with a double-tee start on the first and 10th holes. The final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. MST with a shotgun start.
Northern Arizona's lineup includes Neale, Amy Hodgkins, Frankie Dezis, Sumin Kang and Lydia Lin. Nina Lukyanenko, Ava Bates and Glafira Pomazkova will compete as individuals.
The tournament field includes No. 116 Grand Canyon, No. 135 Gonzaga, No. 138 Wichita State, No. 159 Weber State, No. 228 William & Mary, No. 234 Southern Illinois, No. 237 Montana, No. 248 Southern Utah, No. 261 Stonehill and No. 10 NAIA Embry-Riddle.
