FARMINGTON, Utah (March 25, 2026) – Northern Arizona men's tennis freshman Jakub Jedrzejczak has been named the Big Sky Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday morning.
The laurel comes of the heels of a 3-0 week for the Lumberjacks, in which Jedrzejczak went undefeated in singles and doubles play, competing on courts one and two. He stands at 11-3 overall on the season, with all but two of his victories coming in straight sets, the most recent being over Sacramento State's Doni Gashi this past weekend. His seven-match win streak in singles is also currently the longest of anyone in the league.
The native of Bielsko-Biala, Poland has also accumulated a 10-3 record in doubles so far this season, playing alongside fellow Lumberjacks Daniels Tens, Takumi Katsuda, and Jakub Volesky. NAU sits atop the league standings with an 11-5 record, including a 3-0 mark in conference matches, and have won four contests in a row.
Jedrzejczak and the Lumberjacks will be back in action this weekend as NAU travels to Ogden, Utah for a meeting with Weber State on March 28.
