FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (April 9, 2026) – Following a string of six matches away from Flagstaff, the Northern Arizona men's tennis team returns to the Wall Aquatic and Tennis Center this weekend to host Arizona Christian on Saturday, April 11. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m. MST and is free and open for fans to attend.
NAU carries a 14-5 record into the weekend, including a perfect 6-0 in Big Sky matches and has won seven in a row. The Jacks most recent victory, a 4-3 nailbiter over Montana, allowed them to clinch at least a share of the regular season title for the third straight season.
Jakub Jedrzejczak has led the way recently for NAU, as he has won ten in a row in singles. Jedrzejczak's streak is the longest of anyone in the conference and the longest by a Lumberjack since Dominik Buzonics won 13 in a row during the 2023 season. The freshman earned his second Big Sky Player of the Week nod on Wednesday.
Arizona Christian brings a 11-5 record in this conference, including a 1-0 mark in GSAC games. The Firestorm have played one other Division I opponent this season, Grand Canyon, which they lost in a 6-1 decision. Hugo Abril owns an 11-1 record on the season, his only loss coming against the Lopes.
Following the match, the Jacks will host another ACEing Autism event for members of the community. Fans in attendance can also enter a raffle on to win a Lumberjack bobblehead.
