Grand Canyon Invitational Update Three

Tumosa picked up the line win for the Lumberjacks

PHOENIX, Ariz. (November 4, 2018) – The Northern Arizona men's tennis team ended its Grand Canyon Invitational on Nov. 4 as the team participated in both singles and doubles on the day.

The Lumberjacks went 1-5 in singles on the day and 0-3 in doubles.  The 'Jacks lone individual came from the freshman Facundo Tumosa against Niko Moceanu of Abilene Christian University in two sets.  The scores were 6-4 and 6-4. The win marked his second singles win on the weekend

NAU ended the weekend in Phoenix going 6-12 in singles and 3-6 in doubles.

Northern Arizona will be back in action on Nov 7 in the ITA National Fall Championships in Surprise, Ariz.  The pair of Tim Handel and Ruben Montano will be the only two Lumberjacks in the event as they had qualified for it after winning the ITA Mountain Regionals.
