Tim Handel moved back into the Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Rankings, coming in at No. 80 in the national rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday.

Maciej Bogusz said. "We are very proud of his improvement this season and the example he sets for his teammates every day. Tim is on a historic run this season, and he is not done yet."
The senior was first ranked this season on March 5, where he came in at No. 119 in the country. Since then, Handel had fallen out of the Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Rankings until today when he came in at No. 80. The ranking is the highest Of Handles career.
Handel is currently 15-1 on the season and riding a nine-match winning streak that started on March 2 against Southern Utah. The 15 wins not only leads the Lumberjacks, but Handel also leads the Big Sky Conference. The steady play from Handel on the season at the No. 1 singles position has helped lead NAU to a record of 12-6 and 7-0 in the Big Sky.
The Northern Arizona men's tennis team will be back in action on Wednesday, March 3 in Flagstaff, Ariz. to take on the University of Delaware.
