FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (May 20, 2019) – The Northern Arizona men's tennis team's
Tim Handel has been selected as one of the nation's top 64 tennis players to participate in the 2019 NCAA Division 1 Men's Championships. The event will kick off for the senior on Monday, May 20 at 3:30 MST against Tulane's Ewan Moore.
Handel has had an impressive senior year in singles as he is 21-2 on the season and a perfect 10-0 in the Big Sky. The senior's presence at the No. 1 position has helped NAU to a 22-7 record on the season and a Big Sky Championship.
Handel will be taking Moore of Tulane in his opening round of the 2019 NCAA Division 1 Men's Championships in Orlando, Fla. Moore went 16-14 overall, while going 11-9 at the No. 1 position for Tulane.
