Q: Where are you right now and what does a normal day look like for you?
A: I am at home down in Phoenix. A normal day looks like waking up between 8-10 am, going on a morning walk, hitting the gym, and then going in the pool with my dog. Then I shower, have a good meal, and hangout with family, sometimes friends, for the rest of the day.
Q: What are you most looking forward to when you get back competing on the court?
A: I am looking forward most to being on the court and training with all my teammates and getting back into training.
Q: What is motivating or encouraging you to push through these difficult times?
A: I believe that knowing that this is all temporary is important to keep in mind during all this and to not let these times come between you and what you want to do.
Q: How did you first get into your sport?
A: My mom actually got me some lessons when I was a kid and I stuck with it ever since.
Q: If you could be a dual-sport athlete at NAU, what sport would you compete in and why?
A: If I had to add one more sport to what I already do it would have to be basketball because it is a sport I would love to know how to do really well and can play it with a lot more people and use it more often than tennis.
Q: What is your best tennis memory ever?
A: I think I am going to have to say when we won conference in the 2019 season for the first time in program history and went on to the NCAA tournament.
Q:What is your major and what are your career aspirations?
A: My major is business marketing. I want to find something I enjoy doing every day and continually challenges me.
