FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 24, 2021) –
As NAU Soccer (4-1, 3-0 Big Sky) is off to a great conference start, the Lumberjacks will look to wrap up his final spring season home series this weekend against Big Sky opponent, Idaho State (0-3, 0-2 Big Sky).

The two games will be played at Flagstaff High School on both Friday, March 26 at 1 p.m. and Sunday, March 28 at 12 p.m. As there isn't an internet connection at the field, unfortunately, there will be no live stats or stream available for viewing. However, there will be occasional live updates on the NAU Women's Soccer Twitter

As this is the last weekend at home for the Lumberjacks, NAU will be honoring its graduating senior class prior to the beginning of Sunday's match. The student-athletes that will be honored during the ceremony will be Paige Maling, Emma Robson, Taryn Benham, Kayla Terhune, Sydney Paez, and Kylie Kapustka.

Northern Arizona has worked hard this spring, earning a 4-1 overall record and going 3-0 in conference. The Lumberjacks earned a single win over Weber State, 1-0, in Flagstaff on March 14, as well as sweeping Southern Utah 3-2 and 3-0 this past weekend.

As the 'Jacks look forward to this weekend against Idaho State, NAU will hope to continue upon it's three-game winning streak.

The Bengals post a 0-3 record. ISU has only tallied three goals in its first exhibition match against the College of Idaho. As such, Idaho State has yet to score in its regular and conference season, averaging only 3.3 shots per game.

Compared to NAU, the Lumberjacks boast 1.80 goals per game, recording over 12 shots per game.

Defensively, the Bengal's freshman goalkeeper, McKayla Wetsel, has faced 47 shots, making 16 saves. On average, the frosh allows 1.33 goals per match.

Northern Arizona's senior goalkeeper, Benham, is currently looking for her 22nd career shutout to break the individual career record. Tied for first with 21 shutouts, Benham is only one clean sheet away from posting the best shutout slate in NAU women's soccer program history.
