FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (October 31, 2024) – The NAU Men's Tennis team is heading to Phoenix to compete in the GCU hidden duals. Every player on the roster is going to the tournament, with the exception of
Dani Torres who will be competing at the ITA Masters next week.
NAU is one of four schools competing in the GCU Hidden Duals. Alongside the Lumberjacks are GCU, New Mexico, and Portland.
NAU will compete in five matches, three doubles matches and two singles matches. In their first match, NAU will take on the Lobos in doubles. On Saturday, they will face New Mexico in singles and then GCU in doubles play.
On the third and final day of the tournament, the Lumberjacks have two matches as a team when they take on Portland in Doubles, then immediately after will battle against GCU in singles. NAU will only play Portland once in the GCU Hidden Duals.
This is one of the first team actions the Lumberjacks will see this season. The GCU Hidden Duals begin on Nov. 1 and continue through Nov. 3.
