FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (November 11, 2024) – NAU men's tennis senior Dani Torres went to the quarterfinals at the ITA Masters Championships in Mount Berry, Georgia.
In the first round, Torres beat Long Island University junior Leon Harder in straight sets, 6-2,6-5. In Torres' next match just four hours after his first match began, he came away with a win against Dayton sophomore, Kyle McNally by the scoreline of 7-6(2), 1-6, 7-5.
Torres' run would come to an end in the quarterfinals when he took on senior Anton Arzhankin from Western Michigan. Torres would lose this match in what was a battle, 6(1)-7, 6-4, 6-2.
