Lizzie Neale is tied for 44
th after round one of NCAA Regionals. Neale is in action at the Spanish Trail Country Club (par-72, 6,665 yards) in Las Vegas, Nev., where she carded a 76 (+4) in today's opening round.

Rounds two and three take place on Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8. Neale will tee off at 9:50 a.m. Mountain Standard time each day along with the other individuals participating. Live scoring for each day is available on GolfStat.

Regional play takes place across six regional sites. There are 396 participants and each site features 12 teams and six individuals. The top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing team will move on to the national championships on May 17-22 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., hosted by the University of Texas.

After round one, Neale is tied for fifth among the individuals and just five strokes back from the individual leader from New Mexico. The sophomore recorded three birdies today and shot a 39 on the front nine and a 37 on the back.

UCLA, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida State, California, Purdue, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kent State, Xavier, and Dartmouth make up the teams at the Las Vegas Regional. Arkansas currently leads the field after shooting a 280 (-3) as a team today.

Neale advanced to NCAA Regionals after winning the Big Sky Conference individual title on April 17.
