FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (September 23, 2024) - Dani Torres was the lone Lumberjack that competed in the ITA All-American Championships as competition began this past weekend. Only 128 players were invited to compete in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the singles event.

In Torres' first match, he faced Marko Miladinovic from Baylor University. Miladinovic beat Torres, 6-4, 6-4. Torres' time in Tulsa was not done as he had a consolation match against another Baylor player, Oskar Brostrom Poulsen. This match was played indoors due to weather implications. Brostrom Poulsen, defeated Torres in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.Â

Torres and the rest of the men's tennis team will be focusing their attention on the next tournament that they have on the fall schedule when they head to Colorado Springs, Colorado for the Bedford Cup. The Bedford Cup will begin on Sept. 27 and continue through Sept. 29.
