FARMINGTON, Utah (December 23, 2025) – Following a week of career-best performances, redshirt freshman
Naomi White has been tabbed Big Sky Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
White is the first player from NAU to receive weekly laurels from the conference this season. The guard led the 'Jacks to a 3-0 week which included a home win over Park-Gilbert and two road victories at CSUN and UC San Diego.
Against Park, White reached 30 points for a career-high while also grabbing five rebounds and four steals. She then continued stuffing the stat sheet at CSUN, going for her first career double-double by way of 27 points and 10 rebounds to secure NAU's first road win of the season. Finally, the native of Omaha, Neb. helped the 'Jacks take down the defending Big West Champion Tritons by recording 18 points and six boards.
After seven weeks of regular season action, White is the top-scoring freshman in the country and eighth overall in points per game. She has recorded at least 20 points in nine out of 13 games including six with 25 or more this season and is also sitting first in the league in three-point percentage (39.6) and three-pointers per game (3.08).
