FARMINGTON, Utah (April 23, 2025) – Northern Arizona Men's Tennis earned seven total awards on Wednesday morning, just ahead of the 2025 Big Sky Tournament set to take place in Phoenix this weekend, as the conference office announced the All-Conference teams alongside individual award winners.
Head Coach
Maciej Bogusz was named Big Sky Coach of the Year following another regular season title, an 816-day win streak at home, an 8-0 undefeated conference slate, and a 10-0 season record in Flagstaff. Clinching the regular season title outright, the Jacks secured the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
Dani Torres adds unanimous MVP to his accolades list, following a 15-4 singles record this season, playing all 19 matches at the top of the lineup. Torres was named Big Sky Player of the Week three times this season and went 7-1 in Big Sky contests. In addition to MVP, Torres was named a unanimous All-Big Sky Singles First Team honoree.
Semen Agynskyy was also named to the All-Big Sky Singles First Team, following a 14-5 record this season while primarily playing at the No. 3, going 8-0 while holding a 4-3 No. 4 record and a 2-1 No. 5 record.
Jakub Volesky's 13-4 singles record led him to an All-Big Sky Singles Second Team recognition, as he holds a 7-3 record at the No. 4, 3-1 at the No. 5, and 1-0 at the No. 6.
Piotr Galus joins Volesky on the All-Big Sky Singles Second Team with an 11-8 record, going 4-1 at the No. 3.
Torres and Galus reigned in the Jacks lone doubles honors, being named to the All-Big Sky Doubles First Team unanimously, with an 11-2 record together, recording a perfect 7-0 record at the top of the lineup.
