FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 7, 2022) - NAU divers Alyssa Jones, Victoria Knapp, Makenna Sammons and Maegan Jensen all represented the blue and gold during Women's 1-meter prelims for the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships.
In Jones' last competition for the Lumberjacks, she topped the teams scores in 1m prelims, finishing 35th with a score of 235.75.
Knapp fell right behind her for 38th place in prelims with a final score of 231.50. Freshman. In her first appearance at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, Sammons placed 39th with a score of 230.05. Jensen ended the day for the 'Jacks, finishing with a score of 229.25 for 41st place overall.
As only the top eighteen divers in prelims move on to finals, NAU did not advance divers to the final event.
The Lumberjacks will be back in action tomorrow for 3m dives, where Knapp, Jensen, and Emily Luberto will compete on the 3-meter boards, with prelims beginning at 11:30 a.m. MST.
