FARMINGTON, Utah (October 21, 2025) – For the second time this season,
Micala Boex has garnered weekly recognition from the Big Sky Conference for her performance on the pitch. The forward was named Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday morning.
The award follows a week with a pair of draws for the Lumberjacks, who earned a 1-1 result with Weber State before tying Idaho State at home, 2-2, on Sunday to close their home schedule for 2025.
Boex tallied points in each contest, notching a goal against Weber State and an assist against Idaho State to reach a team-leading seven goals and six assists for 20 points on the season. The performances launched the junior into first in the Big Sky in points per game (1.33), third in total goals, and second in total assists.
NAU returns to the pitch on Friday, Oct. 24 as it travels to Eastern Washington to take on the Eagles. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. Mountain Standard Time and will be streamed on ESPN+.
