Q: Where are you right now and what does a normal day look like for you?
A: I am in Scottsdale, Arizona. Each day has been a little bit different since I don't have school and tennis to fill my schedule. Though, I have been trying to keep up with my workout routines while having fun with my family and a few close friends.
Q: What are you most looking forward to when you get back competing on the court?
A: I really look forward to being back at school with my team. We have such great team chemistry, and it was devastating that we weren't able to finish out the year together.
Q: What is motivating or encouraging you to push through these difficult times?
A: I am encouraged through these difficult times by trusting that everything will get better. These times are tough for everybody and I am thankful to be with my family right now.
Q: How did you first get into your sport?
A: I played many sports growing up and I guess tennis just stuck with me the most. My parents were the ones that got me into the sport when they started playing back when we lived in Atlanta.
Q: If you could be a dual-sport athlete at NAU, what sport would you compete in and why?
A: I would compete in soccer because I have always loved playing since I was little.
Q: If you could pick any other NAU student-athlete to try out your sport, who would it be and why?
A: Ashley Croft because Brits (
Ellie Millard) are good at tennis.
Q: What is your best tennis memory ever?
A: My best sports memory was playing UCLA in the first round of NCAAs. It was awesome to have such a close match with a big-name school.
Q: What is your major and what are your career aspirations?
A: I am a biology major with a minor in chemistry and psychology. I aspire to become a surgical physician's assistant.
